Mini-hockey and a Veterans vs. Nat. Youth match in Oman

The Oman Hockey Marathon was held in the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex Astroturf Pitch - Muscat Sultanate of Oman. The marathon function was opened by President – OHA. Mr. Dawood Ahmed Al-Raisi. The target group was school children and students, but also clubs junior teams. More then 200 participation enjoyed the day.
The aim of the event was to develop hockey in the different regions in Oman and to celebrate the Global Youth Hockey Marathon. Coaching, training, mini-hockey and veteran matches were organized.
Results of the event: It was exciting! Participation by youth of the schools, the match program as well as the Veteran XI versus the youth National Team Match.
Follow-up of the event: The Coaching in School – OHA will nominate Coaches.  The Coaching in club – OHA will nominate Coaches for Development. The preparation of senior for International Competitions and the Youth Preparations for Club Teams.
