13 May 2022 08:35

Due to injury, Loughborough Students forward Martin Scanlon has withdrawn from the England U21 men’s squad ahead of this summer’s Junior World Cup in Singapore and Malaysia.

Replacing Scanlon in the 18 man squad is 20-year-old Alex Edmonstone, who plays his club hockey for Bowdon in the Slazenger EHL Premier Division.

England’s Junior World Cup campaign gets underway against the co-hosts Malaysia on Sunday 7 June.
