Pitch Filling 

Q: Can any type of sand or granulated rubber be used in a filled or dressed pitch particularly when maintenance is undertaken?

A: No. The manufacturer of the pitch carpet will provide an exact specification for the type and composition of the sand or other material for the filling and also the quantity (by weight per square metre) and depth. The manufacturer will also supply maintenance advice.
