Philips and FIH collaborate on New Guide to Lighting
17 Dec 2007 08:17

Good lighting on a hockey pitch enables it to be used over a much longed period of time each day and consequently to be of even greater benefit to its users. The FIH has therefore provided a series of guides in collaboration with Philips Lighting and this one brings the series right up to date.

Lighting technology continues to advance. Better lighting levels are now achievable which are also more energy efficient. This guide therefore updates the ways in which lighting can be configured to optimal effect. It also provides a more detailed explanation of the necessary outputs required including a table of measurements for hockey at different levels.

The guide is available to download from the FIH website by clicking here.
